Abhirup is an alumnus of the London School of Economics. He became friends with his boss’s relative, Damayanti, also known as Babli, while travelling by car from Imphal to Dimapur. Babli believes that stories about people like her aren’t written by writers. Considering her weight, she lacks complexity. Nevertheless, the voyage gives their friendship a new hue. They are forced to stay in a wooden house tucked away inside a jungle after their car breaks down in the middle. Knowing that her friend Jhuma, an air hostess, is attracted to Abhirup causes Babli to change, and doubt begins to creep into her thoughts.
